Who doesn't love free stuff? Who doesn't love free stuff that actually makes your freelance life simpler?
Enter Wave.
So how do they make their money you ask? Well, the do have an option that allows you to accept payments from your clients via debit or credit card - and this is where they take a commission. It is however a totally opt-in option and you can set it per invoice.
Even though I founded and run the Novel Creatives marketplace, I am in fact a freelancer too and have been putting this 'so called' free accounting software through its paces. I am happy to report that it does what is says and it does it well.
While they are slightly more US-focused, they do cater for small business owners (yep, that's what we are) all over the world.
