Amrhan is 26. He grew up in a small village in India. His family were farmers and they grew all their own fruit and vegetables and lived a simple, conscious existence. His parents wanted him to be a doctor. He even studied to become one, but his true passion is (and has always been) food. The only time Amrhan was really happy was when he was cooking, presenting and photographing his creations. He also knew, from a young age, that he could help more people with his food than he could being a doctor. He now lives in London (and on Instagram).
He gets great joy out of educating consumers about the benefits of eating well, the value of organic produce and of course, that food ALWAYS looks Instagram worthy. Amrhan is also a huge advocate against food waste and loves recipes that not only make life simple and wholesome for folks that follow him, but also that use every possible bit of the ingredients.
He loves getting his fruit and vegetables from places like Oddbox because he thinks what they are doing are great. One day he hopes to style a shoot for them. He also insists that any leftover produce go to City Harvest, an organisation that ensures surplus food gets distributed to organisations that feed the hungry.
