Estelle is 19, she was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit. She was undoubtedly born to be a star...with the voice of an angel and talented musician from a very young age. The rich, smoky history of her home town, and the music that has come before her, inspires her every day. You can hear the likes of her hometown hero's coming through in her music. The likes of which include Aretha Franklin, The Supremes, Stevie Wonder and Sixto Rodriguez (to name a few).
Estelle is developing her passion and worked hard to secure a spot at Berkley College of Music, where she is studying music production. Her favourite teacher has worked with the likes of Alicia Keys and Bruce Springsteen. She loves the idea that she is closer than just 7 degrees of separation to her hero's.
Estelle is into mindful living and has recently become vegan after watching Cowspiracy, wanting to lessen her impact on the planet. While studying, she writes and performs jingles for tv and radio ads and does the odd voice over for organisations that care about animals (sometimes she includes people in the animal wrangle too) to make some extra cash so she doesn't need to rely on her parents.
