He grew up in a small town, just outside Milan and from a young age worked in his father’s clothing store. Whenever he saw a customer try on a piece of clothing that fitted them well, he noticed how their smile widened and how they held themselves a little taller. He liked the impact clothes had on a person’s self-confidence.
Now a loving family man - a father of three incredible kids and a wife who he adores. Nothing brings him more joy than sharing a home cooked meal and glass of red wine with her at the end of a long day.
A high-flying celebrity stylist who changed his focus, as his secret obsession with watching documentaries while travelling for work led him to stumble upon the film "The True Cost". Mortified at the working and environmental conditions created by the industry that supported him and his family, he decided to do something. The only way he could see to move forward with his career and uphold all his personal values was to slow down - and rather than using fast fashion brands, he started working and supporting brands that were transparent in their operations, paying their makers fair wages and were doing whatever they could to minimise their impact on the environment. He swapped his Converse for Veja's and never looked back.
Now, whenever Stephano isn't travelling the world with his famous clients, dressing them in Green Carpet worthy gowns, he his lending his knowledge and creative eye to supporting independent, ethical fashion brands to produce captivating imagery so they don't get lost amongst the assumptions of people who think ethical fashion is old sacks and patchwork dungarees.
